Age Eligibility and Validity

Mind Care PRO is for age 18 years old to 65 years old.

Benefit Coverage

Mind Care PRO is a single-use 2-in-1 health plan that allows you to have a 50-minute counseling session/consultation with a PhilCare Psychologist and a consultation with a DigiMed PLUS Specialist through the PhilCare Member Gateway. This Certificate of Coverage is valid within one (1) year upon purchase. If cancellation is made less than 24 hours from the scheduled appointment, benefit shall already be considered utilized.

Psychological Consultation


Covers one (1) online consultation for deeper psychological issues not covered in mental health counseling not needing urgent care. Endorsement for Psychiatric evaluation if necessary is also covered under this plan, Psychological Consult covers severe conditions of the following Depressive Disorder cases:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders
  • Trauma and Stressor Related Disorder
  • Somatic symptoms
  • Feeding and Eating Disorders
  • Elimination Disorders
  • Sleep-Wake Disorders
  • Sexual Dysfunctions
  • Disruptive-Impulsive Control and Conduct
  • Substance and Addictive Disorders
  • Personality Disorders
  • Paraphillia
  • Emerging psychological disorders (internet gaming addiction, persistent complex bereavement disorder)


The exceptions of Psychological consult are:

  • In-person consultation with coaches and counselors. The 50-minute counseling session is done purely online.
  • Any cases needing psychiatric consultations requiring in-person checkup for proper assessment of more appropriate treatment and medications.
  • Any of the following cases:
    1. Person is advised or is currently under psychiatric care
    2. Person is mandated by relevant authorities to undergo psychotherapy
    3. Psychiatric cases needing diagnosis of disorders
    4. Any cases needing medical prescriptions
  • Any Emergency/crisis situations needing urgency:
    1. Person suffering from severe panic attack and needs psychological and physical assessment for immediate treatment and medication
    2. Indication of harm to self and others / Violent tendencies
    3. Indications of repeated suicidal ideation
    4. Actual emergency event when a person is in imminent act of committing suicide/harm

Mental and emotional wellness check and counseling for persons with any experiences/conditions/feelings/circumstances not listed as covered.

Medical Consultation with a Specialist


Covers one (1) teleconsultation with a Physician with any of the following specialization:

  1. Internal Medicine (Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, etc.)
  2. Pediatric Medicine
  3. Surgery (General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, etc.)
  4. Obstetrics and Gynecology
  5. Rehabilitation Medicine
  6. Dermatology

This health plan also covers the following benefits:

  1. Issuance of medical assessment and prescription
  2. Endorsement for lab tests/procedures to clinics if necessary
  3. Referrals for specialty consult if necessary
  4. Interpretation of laboratory test results
  5. Consultations for pre-existing conditions not requiring emergency attention


Mind Care PRO does not cover medical conditions which require in-person medical check-up for proper visualization of the case and physical exam for assessment of more appropriate treatment. These medical cases include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Emergency related cases - Heart attack, Stroke , Trauma injuries
  • Hypertensive emergency, Severe abdominal pain and difficulty of breathing, Severe burn, Animal bite
  • Maternity related cases- Labor, Pre-eclampsia, Threatened abortions/ bleeding, Fetal distress/ problems
  • Post-operation follow up and complications
  • Dental Consultations
  • Mental health related conditions
  • Medical conditions related to all forms of behavioral disorders
  • Developmental or psychiatric disorder and psychosomatic illness whether acquired or congenital
  • "Fit to work" assessments or clearances requiring medical certification

Client may examine and cancel this health plan within a period of 15 days from receipt of the Certificate of Coverage, provided that the product hasn’t been utilized or availed for its purpose. The membership coverage shall be terminated thereafter. Refund provisions apply in accordance to PhilCare’s Termination Policy. Please email your request at [email protected].

Availment Procedure

You can maximize the benefits of your Mind Care Pro health plan in two ways: 1) book a counseling session/consultation with our Psychologist; and, 2) book a consultation with our DigiMed Specialist.

Setting your appointment with a PhilCare DigiMed PLUS Psychologist

  1. Visit https://www.philcare.com.ph
  2. Click the Member Gateway tab and click the “DigiMed PLUS, Mind Care PRO and Mind Care PLUS Consult? Click Here” link.
  3. Enter the reference number indicated in the email notification.
  4. Input the patient’s basic information.
  5. Submit and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  6. On the left side Menu, click “Mind Care PRO”, and select “Do Psychologic Consult”.
  7. In the “Steps to Request an Appointment” page, click the “Proceed to the Consent Form” button.
  8. Accomplish and sign the Consent Form.
  9. Wait for the call from our Medical Team to schedule an appointment (Mon-Sat, 8am-5pm).
  10. You will receive an email notification confirming your appointment details.

Setting your appointment with a PhilCare DigiMed PLUS Specialist

  1. Visit https://www.philcare.com.ph
  2. Click the Member Gateway tab and click the “DigiMed PLUS, Mind Care PRO and Mind Care PLUS Consult? Click Here” link.
  3. Enter the reference number indicated in the email notification.
  4. Input the patient’s basic information.
  5. Submit and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  6. On the left side Menu, Click “Mind Care PRO”, and select “Do Digital Consult”.
  7. Click “Doctor Schedule” to see you the schedule of your preferred DigiMed PLUS Specialist.
  8. Request for an appointment with the preferred DigiMed PLUS Specialist.
  9. Select the preferred date and time. Type in the chief complaint and confirm the request.
  10. Check the appointment request in “My Appointments –Sent Requests”.

Video Teleconsultation Procedure (On the day of consultation):

  1. Log-in to your account thru the PhilCare Member Gateway or click the link provided in the email or SMS notification 15 minutes before your appointment.
  2. Click on the “DigiMed PLUS, Mind Care PRO and Mind Care PLUS Consult? Click Here” link.
  3. Click on “Upcoming Appointment” link on the lower portion of the screen.
  4. Click the “Join Call” button on the homepage at the time of the appointment. Do not forget to switch on the camera and microphone before joining the call.
  5. Engage in the medical video teleconsultation with the DigiMed PLUS Psychologist or Specialist.
  6. Click “End Call” to conclude the consultation.

Terms and Conditions

By buying, registering or availing coverage of any of the above products, I certify that I have read, understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions. I would receive the soft copy of the full policy contract within 24 hours from the receipt of the Certificate of Coverage that includes the full details of the product that I have purchased including its terms and conditions. I may also opt to request for a full policy contract by sending an email to [email protected]. If I disagree with these Terms and Conditions and I have not registered the product, I can request for a refund, subject to the PhilCare Returns & Refund or Replacement, or Cancellation Procedures (https://shop.philcare.com.ph/return-refund-terms).

I certify that the information given and to be given by me or on my behalf is true and correct and that any material misrepresentation or falsity therein shall be construed as an act to defraud PhilHealthCare Inc. (PhilCare), and serves as sufficient ground for any and all of the following actions: the rejection or cancellation of my application or membership, non-coverage of medical expenses at accredited providers, collection of receipt from me in case of payment of medical expense advanced by PhilCare. I hereby authorize PhilCare to inquire about and investigate all declared information from whatever sources PhilCare may consider appropriate.

I agree that receipt of the corresponding membership fees by PhilCare does not constitute acceptance of my application until the corresponding application has been approved. For Mind Care PRO (Single-use), coverage starts after successful payment of the health plan and is terminated once the benefit is used, or after one (1) year from the date of if the benefit is unused. Coverage shall automatically begin, regardless of the status of receipt of notice advising the member of successful registration and coverage period. Non-appearance during the scheduled digital appointment would mean forfeiture of the benefit and reschedule shall no longer be allowed. In case of technical issues while logging in for the scheduled appointment, or disconnection in the middle of the digital consultation, PhilCare shall assess the validity of the concern and may allow the consultation to proceed thru audio call.

I agree to the procedure for availment of Mind Care PRO services stipulated above.

I hereby agree to PhilCare in retrieving and processing any and all medical information drawn or obtained pursuant to its services based on my coverage, provided, that (a) such information shall only be utilized in accordance with lawful and official business purposes of PhilCare; (b) such information shall not be disclosed to non-essential personnel or entities; and (c) all reasonable efforts shall be taken to maintain the confidentiality of said information.
